Existentialism is the philosophy of human existence, which flourished first in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s and then in France in the decade following the end of World War II. This encyclopedic dictionary avoids all the ivory tower trappings this subject COULD employ. Instead you hold in your hand accurate objective explanations written with such clarity you feel as if a friend just explained a complex idea to you! Grab your pen and notepad, there's learnin' to be had here.

Finally affordable!

This excellent book was previously only available at $100 plus, and this new edition makes it affordable for everyone. It makes a sometimes shifty and difficult-to-grasp subject understandable, and the introductory essay explains the historical scope of the issues clearly and with urgency. Here are some reviews:
